Leading design and development of Croatia's premier electronics webshop — from main platform to B2B and regional derivatives.
Overview
Sancta Domenica is one of Croatia’s leading electronics retailers. As Head of Design and Development, I led the design of their main webshop and all its derivatives, including B2B platforms and the Sancta Domenica BiH regional expansion.
The Challenge
Managing a large-scale e-commerce ecosystem with multiple storefronts, each with different requirements — consumer-facing retail, B2B procurement, and regional variants — while maintaining brand consistency and operational efficiency across all platforms.
My Role
My scope covered the full digital operation:
- Planning, writing, and executing all digital projects
- Writing project proposals for EU funding
- UX/UI design and prototyping across all platforms
- Managing developer and design teams to deliver on time and within budget
- Integrating helpdesk solutions, marketing tools, CRM systems, and tracking infrastructure
Design Approach
The design system was built to scale across multiple storefronts. Shared components maintained brand consistency, while each derivative had the flexibility to serve its specific audience — whether a consumer browsing on mobile or a procurement officer placing bulk B2B orders.
Outcome
Successfully delivered and maintained the complete e-commerce ecosystem, supporting Sancta Domenica’s position as a market leader in Croatian electronics retail.
